Governance Africa Foundation (GAfF) was founded in 2005 to function as an independent, non-state, non-profit organisation committed to strengthening and deepening the democratic culture among Ghanaians and the people of Africa.

While remaining a-political, non-religious and non-partisan, Governance Africa Foundation is committed to the issues of rights, duties, and responsibilities in the pursuit of social justice, rule of law, equity, fairness, transparency, and accountability as the basis of good governance.

Youth-Centric Agenda

GAfF is a strong advocate for youth empowerment. We believe in including the youth in all levels of governance, as they will inevitably be the ones in charge of making important decisions that will impact the direction of their countries. Therefore, we are committed to engaging the youth in educational and informative activity to empower and support their growth as patriotic citizens.

Years In Perspective

Distribution of free pocket-sized constitution of The Republic of Ghana to the youth.

Mobilizing the average Ghanaian youth to be patriotic through our civic education and informative activities.

Encouraging the youth to think “industry” effectively through a broad range of activities not limited to “Youth in Agriculture, Business and Marketing, Artisans, etc.) thus, changing the youth approach to the industry.

Addressing the issue of unemployment in the country and provision of “thinking out-of-the-box solutions.
